At this point, nearly the entirety of 2023 has come and gone without Capcom saying anything notable about the project, which is why today's update is so noteworthy. Pragmata was first announced at a PlayStation 5 reveal. Available exclusively for next-gen platforms and PC, the game will now launch somewhere in 2023 instead of the previous 2022 release. No gameplay was found in the trailer, however, and Capcom also unveiled that it wouldn't be launching until 2023. Fans were hoping for a 2022 release date, but unfortunately, Pragmata was delayed by its publisher, who set the launch back to 2023.

Capcom announced the title well over a year ago in June 2020 via a teaser trailer that gave us a brief look at the world that the game will seemingly take place within. The Callisto Protocol’s initial gameplay trailer was released during a crazy teaser as part of the June 2022 State of Play event by Krafton and Striking Distance Studios. Mentioned in a new financial report that Capcom released today, Pragmata's development was said to be going quite well.
